Although change can be quite irksome when it is unexpected, it is also sometimes necessary and refreshing. Getting a haircut, throwing out that pager, donating the Hammer pants to the goodwill, you know what I mean. It’s good to keep up with the times and know that Pakistan is no longer part of India, that skydiving from space is possible, and that President Obama will not be running against Ross Perot in next month’s presidential election.
It’s nice to feel fresh, new, updated. So today, aside from dying my hair, I decided to give my blog a make-over, too. What do you think of the new look? Also, a couple of days ago, I broke down and joined Twitter. I’m still trying to figure out the # and @ functions properly, but it is kind of fun. If you’d like to look me up, I’m @TravelChronicle.
Do you love the newest and latest or is it best to stick with the tried-and-true? How do make-overs make you feel, or are they overrated? What are your rituals to make yourself feel anew? Is it always the best idea to wait for the New Year to change something about your life?
